- Word Count: 150

Example

The first term this year was very interesting for me. I had a lot of new subjects I didn't have last year. For example, I studied History of Institutions with Professor Xavier. He is a very good teacher and his classes were fascinating. I learned a lot about different kinds of government,
I also started to go to archery classes in Universidad de Chile. This is at the Faculty of Architecture on Portugal Avenue. I find the classes very entertaining because it's difficult to aim a bow and hit the target with the arrow. I also went to a lot of parties where I danced salsa with my friends from the university.
This term we had a lot to do because of the student movement and problems with the building where we study. There were a lot of student strikes and we didn't have English classes for a few weeks. We had to study for all the final tests after the strike ended. That was very stressful, but I think we achieved many good things.
I feel happy about how the first term ended. The only bad news I had was that a friend of mine had to stay in the hospital because he had cancer. But he's all right now and his cancer is gone. Yesterday we got together to celebrate with his family and closest friends.
